Welcome to our Home in the Florida Sun!

Things could not have been better. Your home was even nicer than it looked on the internet, and everything was great. We had a wonderful stay, and will certainly consider renting your marvellous vacation home again should the need arise. As we mentioned earlier, we do have a timeshare down in Orlando, however, we had already used it this year. The games room in the garage was a real plus, and very nice, even though we didn't get a chance to use it. We spend two days commuting down to Tampa for the Thanksgiving rendevous with family. For those that visit your home during the summer months, or use the pool heater in the colder months, I could certainly see that the pool would be well enjoyed.

We had a fabulous Christmas and New Year. The house was lovely and well maintained with everything we needed. We found fairy lights in a cupboard and took Christmas cards with us to make it feel more ‘Christmassy’. The first week (Christmas) was lovely and warm and we had fun in the pool which was also warm thanks to the pool heater. We definitely needed it. We also went for an hour’s nature trail at Horseworld just along the road which was great fun and my treat for my 40^th birthday! YEEEHAAA! The second week (New Year) was FREEZING! A lady at the park told us it was a 25 year low! Just our luck. We didn’t get much use of the pool but at least the parks were quieter.

The fireworks at Magical Kingdom at midnight on New Year’s Eve were amazing and so were the Illuminations fireworks at Epcot.

It was great to have our wee haven to come back and relax in, away from the madness of Disney but it was like a magnet and we couldn’t keep away.

Thank you for keeping touch in the run up to our holiday we didn’t want to come home to wet, miserable Scottish weather and hope to get the chance to return to sunny Florida soon. We would definitely use the villa again.
